Breakfast Tales with me – Oats bowl!

Hey guys. Since many of you’ll on my Instagram have been actively viewing my stories and posts and asking me about healthy breakfast ideas I thought I could do a post helping you’ll create a yummy bowl of goodness.

So it all began with my yesterday ‘s story where I randomly posted about what I’m having for breakfast and many of you’ll messaged me to do a post Giving details of the recipe.

This was a simple bowl of my oatmeal. I boiled half a cup oats in half milk and half water for about 3 minutes. I didn’t add any sugar or honey to it. Honey might be a natural ingredient but is as harmful as sugar is to us. Instead of eating it blandly just like that I added fruits to make it yummy! Oats as we all know is high in fibre and helps our weight loss journey accelerate. Adding fruits to it makes it tastier and healthier thus I chopped few strawberries and added 2 spoons of peanut butter to it too! Peanut butter again works differently for different people but I suggest you consume it properly only if you are into running or atleast jogging.

Coming to today’s bowl- The same way like yesterday, I boiled oats in water and milk. Topped it with strawberries, pomegranate and peanut butter and topped the whole thing with flax seeds powder. To make flax seeds powder roast it first and then grind it into a fine powder. (Having one spoon of it everyday it very good to help you loose weight) you can mix this in your oat meal or have it mixed in butter milk and you can see it work wonders.

Other fruits I like to add – Apples,Bananas, Blueberries. Try even adding seasonal fruits. But don’t go overboard just a few pieces to help you finish up that bowl of oats. Here oats is the main ingredient and not many of us can eat it blandly without sugar or honey. So top it with things that help you eat it. You can top a few almonds too. Almonds help you stay full for long and stop ur fatty food cravings :p

Hope you guys liked it!!!! Pls do feel free to reach out in case of any doubts. I’m not some expert or so. This is how I make a healthy and yummy filling breakfast and finish it off with some green tea 🙂
