THESHIMMERTRAVELS – Kochi with The Tower House Neemrana Hotels.

I was wanting to visit Kerala since a long time and just the other day Sowmya and I were planning on taking a break and go to a peaceful place and very randomly both of us thought lets go to Kochi! Neemrana Hotels decided to host us and we were super happy! They have a gorgeous property named The Tower House in Kochi which is around 1 hour 10 mins from the Ernakulam airport and in the area called Fort Kochi. It is sea facing and a super peaceful non-hotel hotel. So this place is not like your typical hotel. It has a vintage touch,it is hugeeee and has the most gorgeous selection of bright colours.

Living in a city I get to visit fancy restaurants, hotels and more every week and I wanted a weekend away from all that and enjoy in a different atmosphere with lots of peace around and The Tower House was it. The entrance is gorgeous – all white and with gorgeous huge windows. There were pretty corners in every corner of the property with huge doors and vintage details. The rooms had an antique feel to it. We were staying in the room named Mateu. It was super huge and had its own dressing room and the bathroom had a tub as well. This room can easily accommodate 3 people.

The swimming pool was the best part about the hotel. Huge stairs leading to a gorgeous pool with lush green surrounding which was not too crowded and we had a good time eating fruits by the pool in the evening,

We also had a good time getting authentic ayurvedic massage done which Kerala is known for.The lady who gave us the massage used an oil which was really helpful in releasing stress. It was so relaxing that I almost fell asleep. They could arrange for the spa in your room too if you’d like that.

Now coming to the food – you are sure to get fresh food cooked from the scratch as they make food on order basis only. But be sure to inform them a little before you are ready to eat as preparing from scratch takes much longer.

I had the perfect weekend at The Tower House Neemrana Kochi.
